Traffic Study

Well, I do not know about you but boy am I relieved. The just released study done by Virginia Tech shows that accidents have been increased by distractions while driving.
Duh! I have no idea what was paid for this study but I have a feeling that anyone that has to drive to work could have told them that cell phones, eating, reading, applying makeup, beating the kids in the back seat and so forth causes accidents.
I must pass on a quick story that I saw while sitting in traffic going home one day while we lived in Houston. As usual traffic as crawling, stop and go. Go was slow also. I saw two guys, ever the capitalists, were selling beer out of a cooler to hot and tired drivers headed home. That was funny enough but when they ran out of beer they got off the expressway on a frontage road, bought some more beer and got right back on and continued to sell. That tells you just how slow the traffic was running, or not running.
Take care, drive safe. Finish your duties at home and lock the kids in the trunk.
