Tax Cut Bill
I assume all have followed the criticism by party lines about the passage or I should say the continued passage of the tax cut bill. Of course all of the rhetoric pimps were out in force shouting how on the “rich” would benefit for the passage. It never seems to amaze me how easily some people dismiss tax cuts as only for the rich. Tax cuts produce jobs. If wealth is not created you cannot invest that newly created wealth in new creation of businesses that must have people to work and draw a salary.Let’s get real here. No everyone will be rich and famous. Most just want to have a decent job and family and live a reasonably good life. Just start taxing the hell out of everyone and find out how fast that will go away.
The Bill Clinton tax increase produced a “smoke and mirror” economy and was headed rapidly toward failure when he left office. For all of the Bush haters out there just look where the market is today and what we have gone through since 9/11.
Yes gasoline is high but if you will take a moment and quietly tell yourself the truth, it’s should be the price it is now. But look at the interest rate you can now obtain to buy a home and compare that in the past. Just look at Jimmy Carter’s administration and you had to pay 17 to 19% for a house loan. Compare that to what you are paying now, 6 to 7% and then maybe the gasoline price does not look to bad.
Anyone out there want his or her taxes increased? Let me know and I will pass your name on to the IRS and see what you can work out with them.
