I guess this did not work out as planned.
Sorry, got involved again with thinking. The ongoing political debate, it ain't about anything beyond getting re-elected trust me, on pulling out/cutting and running/redeployment in Iraq.I grieve for the dead and wounded young men and women that are the result of the conflict but please allow me to put all of this in perspective. In World War II our monthly average Killed In Action was 9045. That's right, per month. The total tally is 407000 killed in 45 months.
During the time of World War II democrats dominated the congress. If they looked at what was happening in light of the current democrats it would be cut and run. I guess they had more balls back then. Oh, by the way, Germany NEVER ATTACKED the United States. Don't give me any shit about treaties. We like the rest of the world ignore them when it does not suit us.
So, where is this going? It's fairly simple, you finish what you start. If you think that leaving the Middle East now will make us, the United States,safe from attack then you are not even dumb but completely stupid. They are coming here but as long as we keep the pressure on them in their land then we are much better off. If the countries there get a real taste of freedom then they will start taking care of the problem.
