Arrogance
I just had to post the latest comment by Donald Trump regarding a condo project he has lend (for a lot of money) his name in Tampa. When asked last week about adding caissons, Trump said ground instability is not a problem for him."Nobody knows about caissons more than me," he said. "All you have to do is make them a little heavier. It doesn't matter how unstable the land is."
It shows the simplistic nature of a person that has gain great wealth without real knowledge. I personally have been told by first persons about how Trump had to be handled on his projects. It really boiled down to a very simple game plan. "Just make him think he knows what he is talking about"
Having managed major projects around this great country I ran into many, many different soil conditions and let me assure you that it "ain't that easy".
Sorry for the personal post but it just pissed me off.
