Quotes
Here are a couple of verses from the Koran that I found interesting. It can explain a lot of the problems that face the world today, in my opinion. I use various search engines for this purpose but do not always rely on just one. The bold quotes are taken directly from those search engines and as you can see there has been additions to make it read better in english.The first one tells you a ton of what is going on and why it is and will be so hard to stop this problem quickly. The western world has been conditioned to think everything must happen NOW but it just ain't so boys and girls. The ability for someone to wait and wait and wait to strike is very hard to defend.
The second one is just to point out the kidnappings that set off the latest "fun" in the middle east. It's a basic part of the belief system. How do you fight that one? Note this portion of the verse, He would certainly have exacted what is due from them. Does mean that torture is acceptable? I thought when listening to the left wing press around the world only the US would stoop to that tactic.
No doubt I will be told that these are taken out of context but so be it.
The Accessions
[8.65] O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.
Muhammad
[47.4] So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish.
