Supreme Being
I have decided to substitute the term “Supreme Being” for God, Allah, or what ever one wishes to use to name any deity they want to assign the top role to. OK, that being said here goes.Since the first existence of civilized man, which to me means living in organized communities and having some type of government, there has been a Supreme Being included within their belief system. As different groups were formed and became countries/empires/states/whatever the usual fighting between those groups began. After all, if you have something I want then I will try to kick you ass and take it. Pretty soon even the dumbass poor that did most of the fighting and certainly the dying got tired because the “guy in charge” wanted this to happen so something else had to be done to convince the dumbass poor to get in line with the wishes of the rulers of the whatever.
Religion got involved at this time. After all, if you could be lead to believe there was a power, usually you could not see of course, that wanted you to follow the wishes of your leader to take you forward for the greater good (and die for them of course) of the whole then you more than likely bought into that concept.
NOW LET ME MAKE SOMETHING VERY CLEAR. THIS IS NOT TO CONDEMN ANYONE’S BELIEFS. IT IS AN ATTEMPT TO SET UP THE NEXT PART OF MY OPINION. IS EVERYONE CLEAR ON THAT SUBJECT? IF NOT, THEN LEAVE NOW AS THE REST OF THIS WILL REALLY PISS YOU OFF.
During the last 6000 years there have been more people killed in the name of a Supreme Being/Religion than for any other reason that has every existed. Many times both sides were sure the Supreme Being was on their side. I have often wondered about this as many times it was the same religions belief fighting each other. So is this what is driving Terrorism? My God is better than your God? Remember the post regarding the definition of Terrorism? It was to force the other side “to comply with certain political, religious, ideological, or personal demands”. Is that what is happening and if so what are the certain political, religious, ideological, or personal demands? I have been told my understanding of the Muslim religion is wrong with out regards to all of the parts that say I have to yield or be killed. Why do I have to believe what you believe? I do not care if you do not believe what I believe so what’s your problem?
I would like end this by saying to any of the pluperfect responders to my rants, give me that simple answer. If you are unable to tell me that with clear logic, not some quotes from any religious book, then shut the fuck up and crawl back under the fucking rock you crawled from. It’s your and others holier than thou bullshit that has caused more problems that can be accounted for in this world. This is the only place we have to live, this big blue marble, so learn to get along as “old Rodney King” would say or we will certainly all die together as this is going to get way out of hand and stopping it will be almost as hard as putting toothpaste back in the tube after you squeezed it out.

Hey Jay, here's a reply for you.. logical & supported by the Holy Quran...
Before starting to write this reply I thought a lot on whether you really deserve this benevolent answer. What made me think on this is those shoddy and immoral words of you:
"If you are unable to tell me that with clear logic, not some quotes from any religious book, then shut the fuck up and crawl back under the fucking rock you crawled from."
Anyway I'm writing this reply with the hope that it may be useful for someone in seeing the truths about Islam...
I want to start with the issue of damn terrorism and suicide attacks... This is the most important issue that people should be informed about nowadays, since it upsets me a lot when I see people claiming that Islam encourages terror...
However the truth is the reverse of this! The Holy Quran and the words (hadiths) of prophet Muhammed strictly forbids attacking and killing any civilian when no mischief or murder performed by him. You can clearly see this from the below ayah (a sentence of Quran):
"If any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land." (32/5)
Besides, as you see above according to Islam killing a person equals to killing all mankind!!!
So, you'll ask me why those people with kilos of bombs tied to their body are blowing up themselves in the middle of civilian crowds.. The answer really hurts me because if you read about the declarations of our religious leaders you!'l see that these suicide bombers are the ones who didn't understand Islam correctly..
So as a result let's make it clear that: ISLAM CURSES TERRORISM !
Another claim of you was that the wars are done with the idea that "My God is better than your God?" and they are "to comply with certain political, religious, ideological, or personal demands"...
These two ideas (I can again say with no doubt) has no basis in Islam.. As I said in one of my other replies Islam forbids imposing your believes and the way of living to others by forcing them and this is again clearly stated in Holy Quran with no room for doubt:
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Taghut (evil) and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things." (256/2)
So as you see no forcing in believes and ideas in our religion. However I don't mean to say there is no order for fighting. Of course Allah ordered us to fight in the conditions that necessitates the war for Allah and Islam. This fight in the cause of Allah is called Jihad. Here is an adequate and meaningful definition for Jihad:
Jihad is the elimination of obstacles between mankind and Islam by sword or by tongue
As a result the only intention of Islam is to provide access to the message of Allah without any obstacles that makes it difficult to understand and to hear the pure message... And of course the attacks against Islamic world is another reason for Jihad and I want to mention again that there is no room for terror and suicide bombing within Jihad..
(I intended to write about the warfare performed by the earliest Muslims but I have to go... I'll go on later...)
