Does anyone find that the current muslim outrage regarding the Pope’s speech interesting as far as any intellectual meaning is concerned? The following questions seem to be appropriate.Did anyone actually hear or read the entire text of the speech? If so did they understand what was being said and why? Did they ask for a clarification before deciding to burn and kill, cowardly of course? Why the usual lukewarm response from tame muslims?
Let me answer. It mattered not what anyone really did as this now gives the what seems to be the leadership of the islam the right to interpret anything to mean it’s time to hit the streets. I am going to lean toward the fact that most of the people that get stirred up are not highly educated therefore it is sadly easy to understand why they react the way they are doing. After all, their “religious” leader told them what happened so they really have no reason to not believe it. Which leads to the bottom line here; simple logic would leave you with the impression that the mullahs (or what ever the fuck they are called) are leading their congregation to more terror. Burning an effigy of the Pope is one thing, getting young people to blow themselves up is quite another.
Lastly, let me address the tame muslim response. Yes, there was a few reports about this but if they, the tame muslims, believe the word is not getting out then take out TV, radio and newspaper ads. I know they have the money because they are building new mosque just about everywhere. Since that is not being done, then simple logic must lead one to the conclusion that they too are closet radicals.
Please prove me wrong.
