Having lived in Northern Virginia and having been gone for almost ten years I think I am now ready to post comments. Since we left we have continued to visit as we left a son in the area. The change that has occurred in the areas we are familiar with is amazing.

To really understand what I am going to say you have to understand that we lived 25 miles from downtown DC. At the time it was a “long way out”. Now it is considered “close”. Truth be known, it was an area that could only be considered as “white flight”. Now the area of “white flight” is as far out as fifty miles. To be honest, it also is a consideration of property values. The real estate close in has just gotten to expensive but in truth the real problem is the huge and I mean huge influx of Hispanics, Asians, Indians, Arabs of all stripes and I must assume every subgroup that can exist within all of these different groups. They, the new residents, have not tried to “melt” into the area but to form conclaves resembling the “old country”. They seem to revel in the fact they are different and on the surface do not appear to care if they really integrate into the community. It has caused another level of “segregation” by default. If the politically correct crowd decides to “fix” this one, it will be interesting as I do not feel that the groups involved really give a shit.

So why am I posting this? Well, I guess just because I find it interesting and predict that this type of population movement and settlement will, and I think it already has, turn areas such as this into a little bit of the Third World Countries that most of these people have come from. Having been in quite a few Third World Countries I can already see the similarity. Further, I would suggest if you look around where you live, providing it’s a large enough city, you can see the same thing.

So what you say? Well, are you comfortable with populations that are coming into the United States from countries that profess hate of our country and way of life? Do you really believe that “sleeper cells” are just part of the plots of TV shows like 24? We already have 25% of the population of Mexico living here and God knows the percentage of other countries are getting into the United States. Little by little and it’s getting larger everyday; this country is being taken over by stealth. It will shortly dawn on all of the segments of the “new population groups” that political muscle can be used.

Chicken Little? The Sky is Falling? Well, I guess time will tell but my continuing prediction of huge changes taking place in this country within twenty five years remains. I will be dead by then but maybe some that may read this can remember and I sincerely hope I am wrong.
