WW II

The big news from the national outlets, which means the puppies that suck at their tits will follow, is we have been in Iraq longer than we fought WW II. What an "out of context" piece of bullshit. If that was news then why are we not saying that we are still fighting WW II since we are still in Germany and Japan after 56 years. We are really still fighting the Korean War, not police action, since 1952. There is "sort of" a truce and cease fire but if you do not believe it's still active then just go and visit the DMZ between North and South Korea.
The real problem in Iraq is that we are NOT fighting. We let the Iraq armed forces get off the hook without completely destroying them. They just melted away into the population. Next we were not really prepared to keep the peace while they, the population of Iraq, worked out a government. Sad as it is, the only thing that kept them from fighting each other was Saddam. Now with outside influences like Syria and Iran it is impossible to stop the fighting.
You never, never, never win a war without totally destroying the fighting will of the people. Then and then only will they realize that seeking a better way than what got them in trouble in the first place will have to occur. The cost of continuing down the path to war must be so horrible to make sure it never happens again for a long time. Nothing is permanent but you try.
We thought we won because they just quit fighting. Well, would not you quit when faced with the American Armed Forces? If you did not, then you are stupid.
The dumb ass citizens of America really do not understand or care about history. They want the goddamn thing over in one hour or less, not counting commercials, like it is done on TV. We have become a pitiful population. World Power, my ass.
