President Bush Speech
I urge everyone to read the entire transcript of the speech last night. You can take your time, which you cannot do when you just listen, to read and study what was said. There are a number of things that bother me but may not everyone. Below are my concerns.
- The speech called for the central Iraq government to take control but then speaks of using tribal leaders, read their armed thugs, to assist. What happens after everyone they do not like is run out. Do they then turn on the Iraq army?
- Who pays? The surrounding countries should foot more of the bill for this. In this case, they are either for us or against us. So far, against is leading!
- There was talk about the American people being at whit's in about this but I still see where there is no real bottom line when we leave. But of course we are still in Germany, Japan, Korea and God knows where else so staying there could be the same thing.
- The government of Iraq is to set up "sharing of revenue" of the oil to each citizen like other middle east countries and Alaska. OK, when are they going to pay the money that came for the tax paying citizens of America? Fucking deadbeats
