An Inconvenient Truth

Back in Tennessee on Tuesday, Gore told a crowd of about 50 people at the U.S. Media Ethics Summit II that the presentation's single most provocative slide was one that contrasts results of two long-term studies. A 10-year University of California study found that essentially zero percent of peer-reviewed scientific journal articles disagreed that global warming exists, whereas, another study found that 53 percent of mainstream newspaper articles disagreed the global warming premise.

The above paragraph was lifted from a Tennessee newspaper article in which Gore was complaining that the media was not falling in behind him blindly to promote the "science" of global warming. The tile of his film is very appropriate, An Inconvenient Truth, as it is anything but truthful. He, Gore, has even admitted that some of the "facts" are not true but it is more important that the story be told than to tell it truthfully. Boys and Girls, there are just not enough facts to support this lunatic that is running around and telling you the SKY IS FALLING.

As I have said before, yes man can contribute to micro changes where he lives but not the overall global environment. Gore and his followers completely ignore long term, and I mean really long term not the last 100 years, affects. We are headed into a climate change but I do not believe it will be global warming but global cooling. There is more hard evidence to support that theory that the theory of warming.

But I do not believe we need to waste our resources. Drive a car that gets better mileage, use energy efficient light bulbs, put in a lawn and plants that do not need precious water and in general move your life style over to saving in lieu of spending. OK, even if I am wrong what can it hurt?
