Please allow me to bring back a subject I have not talked about for some time now. For a while I had some lively back and forth between my blog and some readers but when some of my questions got very specific the dialogue stopped. So here we go again.Let me begin now with a quote from an author of books of faith, Mr. Sam Harris.
I invite [those] who haven't read the Quran to simple read the book. Take out a highlighter and highlight those lines that counsel the believer to despise infidels, and you will find a book that is just covered with highlighter.-- Sam Harris

I want to invite any and all persons of the Islamic faith to reply to the following question.
Can you explain to me and any readers exactly how one can believe the Koran and proclaim to be a devout Muslim and call to be a Moderate. I am defining Moderate as one that does not want to kill anyone that does not covert to Islam.
