Sad
A survivor of WW1 died yesterday in Sun City, Florida. He was 108 years old. As far as can be determined there is only one other survivor left. He lives in West Virginia and is 107 years old. It is my understanding there is none left in Britain, France or Germany, which were the main combatants in WW1.Why do I post this you ask? Well, for me it’s easy. Since my and my wife’s parents were of the “Greatest Generation” it makes me sad that over 3000 WW2 US veterans die daily. It want be long before only the most long-lived will be left. Then they will be gone.
The young men and women that died for the freedom we are going to give away at the poll in November 08 will be for nothing. If that is not sad, then nothing is sad. All of the leading candidates for president, McDemocrat, Osama Obama, the Hilldebeast, have platforms of granting illegal invaders amnesty, force taxpayers to fund healthcare, fund cleanup of third world shit hole countries messes, kill our armed forces, raise your taxes and in general screw up this country beyond belief.
So, if that ain’t sad, What Is?
