Fay, Fay, Fay
Well, looks like Fay decided not to gain enough strength to make it to a hurricane. Good. The only thing that bothers me is our Governor had to declare a State of Emergency to get the tourist to leave the Keys in advance of the storm.Since the storm is only a strong tropical storm what will happen the next time and it does get bad? People have a very short memory about what can kill you. I have seen it happen over and over and would certainly bet it will happen again. Hope it doesn't.
Of course this does not mean anything for anyone that is not in a hurricane area but just had to post.

As it moved though the Caribbean, Fay was blamed for at least 14 deaths in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
That was there, this is here. I do not think it's the responsibility of the governor of Florida to tell Haiti and Dominican Republic what to do.
Besides, no one in Haiti has anywhere to go anyway as the country is just about as piss poor as you can get thanks to the two bit leaders they have had over the years. Dominican? They should have known better.
The same thing will happen the next time to the third/forth world piss ant countries where storms hit. Always have, always will.
