Dover, DE
The concrete jungle is on this weekend. It's a great chase race and one of my favorite tracks. I miss not being there. We had tickets for years and years but it's just to far to drive from Florida. Anyone that has seen my Blog knows I pull for the 88 car driven by Dale Jr. His head is not where it needs to be right now but he is good at Dover. We were there when he won the race right after 9/11. Was a great weekend to see the the number 8 car go around the track with the American Flag. Quite a moment. Allow me to put one of my favorite pictures up. We got there on a Tuesday before the race on the following Sunday. Not many people in the camping lot yet. We like to get there early as there are a lot of great places to eat seafood around Dover. Sure to miss going to Sambo's Tavern to eat fresh Chesapeake Bay crabs.
