Bailout's!!!!
Why am I for and against bailout's for GM, Ford and Chrysler?FOR: We need to keep job's that the auto industry provides but to receive loans the manufacturing of the cars and trucks MUST come back to the US. No more manufacturing in Mexico and Canada.
Against: I, as taxpayer, do not want to pay for the UAW pensions and health care. I am concerned that the move would give the UAW more power than they need and they taxpayers would provide them the ammo to shoot us with.
So, where does this leave us, the taxpayers? I really don't know. The capitalist in me says let them sink or swim. If they survive they will be better companies. If they don't then they did not deserve to do so.
