Over 5000 (Updated, the actual figure is reported as 6003) young men died today on the beaches at Normandy 63 years ago. Goddamn good thing people like the current crop of democrats were not in power then. I am sure everyone in Europe would be speaking German, all the Jews were more than likely be dead and who knows what the hell would have happened to us.
