For you information and education, at this time we have 460,000 persons in the military stationed in 144 countries. I assume 140,000 of these are in Iraq. I would assume we have 500,000 +/- stationed in the US.

The point of this is we have 320,000 persons in the military stationed around the world while the naysayer’s are telling the world we cannot fight a foreign war. The democrats and others are making statements to anyone that will listen that the 20,000 additional troops are not available to send into Iraq. This is not to say the additional troops are needed or not, just we have them if we pull them back from shithole and non-shithole countries.

This alone makes my point of bringing our troops home from the various places around the world and then protect our BORDERS! Does anyone give a shit?

Update 01/15/07: FYI again, there are a total of 1,112,684 active troops in the military. If you include the national guard and the reserve forces you have a total of 2,625,713 troops. Once more, we should look very hard at the troops we keep around the world and start protecting the United States on our own soil.
